The Concert Tour

From the 14th until the 22th of October  2010, the Dutch orchestra Koninklijke Harmonie Sint Philomena Chevremont from Kerkrade, will conduct a  concert tour to Shanghai (China). A very unusual but exciting China Experience for all musicians and the supporters who will accompany them. The whole club is working very hard to be a good representative of Dutch and European amateur windband music in China .  On this website we will inform you about the progress we make in our way  to China and we will share our experiences with you when we have returned. We will also present our sponsors that make the tour possible.

De Concertreis

Vanaf 14 tot 22 Oktober 2010 maakt de Koninklijke Harmonie Sint Philomena Chevremont een concertreis naar Shanghai. Deze China Experience is een geweldige uitdaging voor alle muzikanten en voor de supporters die meegaan. De hele vereniging werkt al een jaar keihard om in China een waardig representant van de Nederlandse en Europese amateur blaasmuziek te zijn en om alle financiën rond te krijgen. Op deze website wordt u actueel geïnformeerd over de weg naar Shanghai en na terugkomst kunt u hier het reisverslag lezen. Tevens presenteren wij alle sponsoren en subsidiënten die deze reis mede mogelijk maken.

Chinese and Dutch Children meet in Art and Music

Thanks to the Philomena band from Chevremont the Dutch school De Veldblom in Kerkrade and the Chinese part of Shanghai United International School can be in close contact with each other on this website. A unique creative concept which enables two entirely different worlds and cultures to meet through the eyes of children. The results of this connection can be found on the website.

Dankzij de harmonie uit Chevremont onderhouden Basisschool De Veldblom uit Kerkrade en de Chinese afdeling van Shanghai United International School contacten met elkaar via deze website. Een uniek creatief concept dat een intensieve ontmoeting tussen twee verschillende werelden en culturen door de ogen van kinderen mogelijk maakt.
